Regardless of ability, we want our individuals to achieve the same full life experiences. One of these opportunities is employment. We are proud to partner with the Department of Disability Services to serve our community. Some individuals may be unable to work with total independence. For these individuals, we provide job coaches and employment opportunities within our establishments as well as in the local communities. Our individuals are paid for these opportunities as we work together to achieve their goals! Our program partners with the Department of Rehabilitation Services and  strives to promote competitive, community integrated employment to individuals. We work to identify areas of strength and areas of need in an effort to match individuals to opportunities where they are able to explore career interests and train with a personal job coach. The job coach in this program trains individuals to support their independence from the job coach as they make progress throughout the program.

One part of having full life experiences is the attainment of a safe, supportive home life. Our Homes division creates this using group home settings with specially trained staff who provide assistance with medication management, personal and environmental hygiene, promoting healthy social and recreational activities, assisting with making and keeping appointments, ensuring safety, and more! Some individuals require a more 1-on-1 support to achieve their goals. We are proud to provide specially trained staff to our individuals with this level of need. If you ask a Homes team member what they do for our individuals, they will happily reply "We can do everything!"

Our The Dam Place staff are proud to offer Glamping Pods for your overnight stays in our community. The property office is housed within our General Store, to meet all of your Glamping needs! Fishing, firepits, and a location in easy walking distance from downtown Pawhuska are all benefits of staying with us! Just outside our General Store, you will find our Beaver Bites food truck, with a variety of delicious food, drinks, and snacks!

The source of our strength as a Non-Profit organization is community support and community involvement. We pride ourselves on an ever-building involvement in our communities. We partner with local schools, churches, chambers of commerce and other community leaders to promote the continued growth and prosperity of our community.

Our staff and individuals are positive, motivated, and passionate about their work and helping others! Please contact us with any questions.

We believe that no one should go to bed hungry. We are honored to be able to serve our community by providing donations of food to families in need at no cost to the family. We have donated more than 51,591 pounds of food since the conception of our program. We are always accepting financial and food donations to our Food Pantry program.
